A Comprehensive Examination of Infrastructure and Monitoring Domains, including business continuity management (BCM) and disaster recovery planning (DRP), involves identifying gaps and providing recommendations for improvement across four dimensions: technology, people, processes, and tools.

Assessment of the Current State – evaluating the organizational strategy and business needs, as well as mapping the current state of infrastructure in terms of human resources, workflows, and technology. The process involves a thorough analysis of needs, gaps, challenges, and opportunities. It also includes analyzing the implications of moving to the cloud, assessing the architecture of the existing DR solution, reviewing the organization’s recovery objectives, mapping critical systems and processes, evaluating complementary processes (such as procedures, drills, and testing), and examining the architecture for business, application, and infrastructure monitoring.

Strategic Planning – This phase involves processing the collected data, identifying gaps, analyzing requirements, and exploring alternative solutions for optimizing the organization’s infrastructure.

Formulating Recommendations – Developing recommendations, creating an action plan for immediate and long-term implementation, drafting a detailed multi-year work plan and required budget, defining all types of projects for execution, setting timelines for their implementation, and preparing organizational and budgetary readiness for their execution.
